Consultations: A Better Bradford District, Shaping our Future

A Better Bradford District
Shaping our Future

Help us develop our new Sustainable Community Strategy

We need your views to help us make the District a better place.

Our neighbourhoods should be great places to live, learn, work and play.

People should be able to fulfil their potential and have a good quality of life.

Which crucial issues should we focus on to make the biggest difference?

The Council is working with its partners on a new high-level plan setting out our vision and direction for the future of the District. This “Sustainable Community Strategy” must identify the challenges we face, and the goals we want to achieve.

We are asking citizens, councillors, staff, community groups, organisations and anyone who has a stake in the future of this great District to let us know how we can make it an even better place.
We would like you to help us decide which important issues we should focus on by completing an on-line survey.

You can access the survey form by clicking on http://www.bradford.gov.uk/surveys/SSC/scs_survey.htm (press Control + click)

You can also find out more about the themes and issues we think are important – the web-site has short fact-sheets on each theme and on the big issues we think might be the most important. You might have other ideas!

If you or your colleagues have difficulty accessing the web-site or would prefer to complete a paper form, please email info@bradfordvision.com or phone Wendy Hall on 01274 431999 or Imran Rathore on 01274 431730. If you have any questions or concerns that aren’t answered on the web-site, please use the same email or phone numbers.

The consultation runs to Friday November 2nd 2007. Please give us your views
